Dr. Anderson, I’ve just read your October
contribution to “Paychology Today” on progress in lab/mice research an its initial conclusions on fear/stress mechanisms in the gut. Fascinating. Personally, I wonder of this research’s potential future leadership in eating disorders. As a long-standing clinical depressive with co-morbid bulimia, anxietrmy, odd stress response patterns, I must wonder if decades of consistent stripping of my microbiome has inherently perpetuated some psychological issues that seem unfounded otherwise. Thank you for your work and olease be well.
